Each mat contains three sets of cards:
- Set 1: uppercase letters.
- Set 2: lowercase letters.
- Set 3: uppercase and lowercase side-by-side.
The combination and use of these cards help your child recognize and identify the differences between the upper and lowercase formation of each letter.
Also, each card shows a picture that represents the beginning sound of the letter on the card, except for the letter X, which is taught by using the ending sound. Learn more about introducing the letter X sound.
